ABOUT KNOWLEDGE LOG (UX/UI)
ResolveQ is a silicon valley stealth startup focussed on disrupting the information dissemination space. Projected launch of product in mid 2018. The product, Knowledge Log is a peer-to-peer platform for professionals to interact with and pose questions to industry experts. The platform will provide features for earmarked experts to communicate thoughts/notions/ideas with the community through blogs,articles and answers.









BACKGROUND
I started by analyzing competitive sites, which for this project were Quora, Linkedin and Stack Overflow. This helped us to gain insights and understand opportunities for improving and offering a better UX than other existing sites/products. The Product Lead had done interviews with some experts across different industries which along with competitive analysis helped us define the project requirements.
PROCESS
The insights gathered from our market research, interviews helped us build out our target personas and narrow down it into two customer segments. One was all working professionals in any given field and earmarked experts recognized by their industry. These helped us towards working and designing a prototype that would help us create our Minimum Viable Product.
The next part of the process after gathering the product requirements, research and personas, after which came creating task flows for the product. Began sketching out ideas and sketched out wireframes on paper.












Once the wireframes were good to go, next step was to prepare a style guide to help with the design style. The color green was the primary color, as it signifies growth. This shows how Knowledge Log, is a place for professionals to grow their knowledge and share it as well in their industry.
After the web product , I also worked on designing the mobile app version of Knowledge Log.
